Gearin' Up for Aggie Relay!

Howdy! Aggie Relay is approaching us fast but we're so excited to have all of our teams work with us! 

Just a reminder, Aggie Relay will kick-off on April 25 at 7pm and will carry on all night until April 26th at 7am! Cancer never sleeps so neither do we. This year we are excited to host Aggie Relay ON CAMPUS at Simpson Drill Field! It'll be a fun night with entertainment throughout the night, a reverent luminaria ceremony, and a Fightin' Texas Aggie Yell Practice!

If you're interested in joining a team or have already made a team, our FINAL team captain meeting will be on April 22nd at 5:30pm at the Bryan American Cancer Society Office (3207 Briarcrest Dr, Bryan, TX 77802). This meeting is the most important so please have at least one representative of your team attend this meeting! If you want to make a team but haven't yet, below you'll find an attachment giving you step-by-step instructions on how to set up a team online! 

Also attached below are Luminaria forms you can feel free to print out and make copies of! As well as a set of step by step instructions on how to order luminarias online!

Team Captain Meetings!

Have you formed a team yet?? Log onto relayforlife.org, enter the zip code 77840, click the Aggieland option, and then choose the Form a Team option!

Once you've formed your team and are ready to start rockin' and rollin', be sure to attend our Team Captain meetings! Anyone from your team may attend. Team captain meetings are held in order to provide more information about the event as it draws closer. It is important for at least one person from the team attends so that your team doesn't miss out on any information about the event. The team captain meeting dates are as follows:

  • March 16th (Rudder 302) at 5:30pm
  • March 30th (MSC 2405) at 5:30pm
  • April 6th (MSC 2404) at 5:30pm
  • April 20th* (Rudder 302) at 5:30pm *Subject to change because of Easter

Join our Aggie Relay Committee!

Howdy students!

First, we'd like to give a BIG "thank you" to our current Aggie Relay Committee members and to Relay For Life participants past and present. Together, we are creating a world with more birthdays; a world where cancer can't claim another year of anyone's life.

Are you just iching to get involved in the fight against cancer? Join the Aggie Relay For Life Committee and be part of the organization that plans and hosts one of the largest fundraising events on campus: Relay For Life! All proceeds raised by Aggie Relay goes directly to the American Cancer Society.

As a committee member, you will be assigned to a sub-committee dedicated to making this event the best it can be! Not only will you be helping us BTHO cancer, you'll also get a chance to meet new people who are just as passionate about the fight against cancer as you are! 

Attached below, you will find the application to join our committee member. The application is due at the first meeting on January 26th at 7:30pm in Rudder 301 or you are welcome to email it to us at aggierelay@gmail.com
